Who is Aligned Accountants for?

Accountants, bookkeepers, CPAs, EAs, fractional CFOs - firm owners who are building, but aren’t looking to scale. People who want to build a firm that doesn’t take over their life so they can spend more time with their kids / with their grandkids / transition to retirement.

What is Aligned Accountants?

It will be a platform where we can gather with like-minded firm owners. It will be a safe place to ask technical and firm-running questions. It will have training for time management and forecasting and more so you can offer higher-level (::cough cough:: higher-priced ::cough cough::) services.

Why is it called “Aligned Accountants”?

Honestly, this was a struggle for me. There was a big push for “The 15 Hour Accountant Community”, which makes total sense. But I don’t want to define a 15 hour week as success. That’s just want I need in my life right now. What I want for people in this community is a firm that aligns with their needs and values. That might be a 20 hour week, a 40 hour week, working 10 hours on the weekends because of your day job, or something else. We support people who are aligning their work life to fit their whole life. You define what success is. Together, we are Aligned. (aw crap, I just made myself tear up)

When and where will Aligned Accountants go live?

May 1st - that’s the tentative target “Go Live” date. The platform will be hosted on Mighty Networks, which allows for the best experience in community building and learning. Any new information will come out here on this email list. And I promise I will not spam you with every-day-launch-emails as we near May 1st.

How much will Aligned Accountants cost?

$50 per month. Based on the survey results, half of you will think this is a steal and half of you will think this is highway robbery. :o) After much research, I think this is right price to pull the right group of people together so you get the most value out Aligned Accountants. Additionally, this email list is not changing and will continue to be freeeee.
