Biggest Bridging the Gap takeaway - for you!
It’s a busy week at the Goode house - hence the late email.
Our oldest is at camp in Wyoming (and I’m really missing her, if I’m honest), I was at the Bridging the Gap conference early this week, which I left early to be home for our youngest birthday mid-week (he’s currently building a new Lego set next to me)…hubby went to run a 5K one town over before work today. #thisissummer
My Bridging the Gap Takeaway
I’m still processing Bridging the Gap (more on that next week?), but the biggest stop-me-in-my-tracks moment happened even before breakfast on the first day. As I was walking towards the breakfast line, my friend Roman Villard, owner of a much bigger firm than me, flagged me down:
Roman: “Erica, I’m talking about you in my presentation today!”
Me: “Why? Aren’t you talking about 10x-ing things? I’m not in a 10x season.”
Roman: “No, you are! You’re 10x-ing time with your kids. That’s the point of the presentation! It’s not just revenue and profit. You can 10x anything you choose.”
I’ll be totally honest. He got me. I’d never thought about 10x-ing anything other than revenue or profit (which I’m consciously not doing right now).
So, I’ll leave you with my friend’s wisdom as well.
